In this class we will be drawing a face focusing on the planes of the face. We will be painting two portraits using that drawing as a starting point. The 1st portrait will be in acrylic washes, gesso and inks.. The 2nd portrait will be in watercolors and gesso.

I supply an outline template of the face for you to use in either of the projects. That way you can just concentrate on the painting. The first painting, the substrate I use is a joint compound fabric that I create. I demonstrate how to make this. It’s a beautiful surface to work on.
